Artify #65

My turn ! I have been asked to host this next edition of Artify. This will be #65 in the series.

For those not familiar with this series please search the previous 64 editions and the original thread here: »Edit This! -- ArtifyŠ Edition # 1

As always please keep final size to 1024 or smaller.

Try to include some sense of what you did to come up with your artify modification. "Thumbs" and comments are encouraged but not mandated. Have fun, post as many as you like.

This is an old church in the Colorado Rocky Mountains taken in September 2005. I've lost the piece of paper I wrote the actual name down on. The image is only resized. I did no post-processing to give everyone the widest scope to play.

Post away! I will come back and see what you've come-up with when I get back from seeing Lenny Kravitz and Aerosmith rock the joint .

Edit: Link fixed.

This is my first time actually trying an Artify. I can't remember all the steps I took to get where I got, but I did more than just use filters . All done in photoshop.

I did a bunch of things in the first one like a motion blur at multiple radius's. I worked with a photo filter, and also curves. I also did some other stuff that I don't remember. The other Two I traced the windows and did a fill with an off yellow. Beyond that I can't remember.

Hope there not too childish Cheers

Accidental observation while using sharpening layers
Duplicated & used mask to remove sky
Moved layer down to 'crop' off the bottom a bit without changing the image size
Converted to B&W
Dupilcated & USM applied, layer mode set to darken (20%)
Duplicated USM layer, layer mode set to lighten (5%)

Copied one of Edit This See Profile's sky shots (thanks ET )
Converted to B&W
