WTH?!?! Ringtone royalties?

Seriously, have they stooped that low to get more blood out of a turnip?

I can see all the cell phone companies stop selling ringtones and/or opening up the devices so people can make their own.

Re: WTH?!?! Ringtone royalties?

I don't get it. Ringtones are what? 15 to 20 seconds long. And now they want royalties for a little clip to play on a phone. The same clip everytime. No one really hears the song. Maybe the music industry should be paying ringtone makers for making small music clips and advertising the music.

Next they will be after people that whistle or hum tunes.

Re: WTH?!?! Ringtone royalties?

Totally. I'll be happy to pay 5¢ for every call/ringing-tone as soon as they pay me 5¢ (minimum) in ad fees for promoting their tune.

My favorite ring-tone: "Take This Job And Shove It!" (disclaimer: I don't actually use ring-tones)

Corzo the bozo also just signed the one gun per month bill.

Don't forget that slingshots and pumping your own gas is illegal here too.

The good news is that Christie has a good shot in November. The bad news is that many may be blinded by Dear Leader campaigning with Corzo.

If NJ would properly sign their roads/highways/etc AND allow LEFT HAND TURNS the need for a GPS unit would decrease dramatically...

I feel the same way! Just too bad I will have to drive with map in one hand and steering wheel in the other now. Thats safe driving!

I challenge this as no voice-activated device ever recognizes what I am trying to say and I bet that's true for at least half the people living in New Joyzie
